Veggie Dill Dip

This homemade Veggie Dill Dip  for Veggies is a creamy herb-flavored snack that pairs perfectly with fresh-cut vegetables.  It is a great recipe for entertaining including holidays, cookouts, and graduations plus it only takes 5 minutes!  Check out my Salmon Spread Recipe!

 

My mom always made this appetizer all the time for get-togethers, holidays, graduation, and New Year parties. This recipe is the best thing to eat your vegetables with.  Now, you can actually buy Marzetti’s version if you do not want to make your own. 

Dill Dip Ingredients

  • Sour Cream
  • Mayonnaise
  • Minced Onion
  • Fresh Dill or Dried
  • Seasoned Salt

This appetizer, Veggie Dill Dip is really delicious and may even help your kids eat more vegetables.  This is really an easy do-it-yourself recipe. You can serve this appetizer with any kind of vegetable including sliced cucumbers, cherry tomatoes, sugar snap peas, celery, or carrots

Veggie Dill Dip Recipe

Simple and quick dip for your vegetables. A great recipe for entertaining including holidays, cookouts, graduations, etc.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Sour Cream
  • 1 cup Real Mayonnaise
  • 2 tsp Minced Onion
  • 2 tsp Dill Weed
  • 2 tsp Lowery's Seasoned Salt (I have also used McCormick's)

Instructions

  • 1. Place the sour cream, mayonnaise, minced onion, dill weed and seasoning salt in a bowl.
  • 2. Stir until combined.
  • 3. Serve immediately or cover and store in the refrigerator for up to 2 - 3 days.
  • 4. Serve with cut vegetables like carrots, celery, bell peppers, cucumbers, sugar snap peas.
